Hesperia, California (VVNG.com) – Murder investigators are leading a death investigation after the body was found on a public road away from National Route 138.
Wednesday, May 26, 2021, 4:25 p.m. California Highway Patrol (CHP) Police Officer Traffic accident on State Route 138 Route 138 was closed as it is approximately 1.3 miles east of Interstate 15.
As the road was closed, the driver bypassed the closure and attempted to move north along a public road away from the main road. The driver found the victim dead on a public road and immediately returned to the highway to alert the CHP staff.
Special Investigations Division Detectives – Details of the murder case responded to the conduct of a death investigation.
The victim has not been identified and an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.
