Driver in critical condition, hit and run on I-4: highway patrol
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – A 46-year-old Zephyrhills man is in critical condition when he was in a hit-and-run accident Wednesday morning on Interstate-4 in the Thonotosassa area, Florida reported Highway Patrol.
A white vehicle that was described by witnesses as an SUV or van slid the victim’s 2003 blue Infiniti sideways onto I-4 westbound near the Thonotosassa exit at around 6:40 a.m., soldiers said. The Infiniti overturned during the accident. The other vehicle sped off. Authorities said the latest victim was known to be in critical condition at a local hospital.
Detectives ask drivers to search for a vehicle that fits the description above with damage to the left side and blue transfer paint. If you see this vehicle, call FHP at 813-558-1800 or * 347.
